(Admission is free.)<br \/>\nVisitors&#8217; Lobby (main lobby)<br \/>\nGeneral Assembly building<br \/>\nUnited Nations Headquarters<br \/>\nNew York, NY 10017<br \/>\n(Entrance: 1st Avenue at 46th Street)<\/p>\n<p><em>We Are What We Eat\u00a0<\/em>is an exhibition exploring the global food concerns mankind faces in the new millennium.<br \/>\nBoth industrialized and non-industrialized countries share growing concerns about viable water sources for human and livestock consumption, sustainable farming as well as food production. The selected works of artists Liu Bolin (China), Edward Burtynsky (Canada), Jim Draper (United States), Pepe L\u00f3pez (Venezuela) and Vik Muniz (Brazil) delve deeply into concepts linked to population and economic growth, malnutrition, free range versus farmed proteins and over consumption. The exhibition is developed in conjunction with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2, to highlight the need for global food security through sustainable agricultural practices, and improved nutrition through activism and education.<br \/>\nThe exhibition is organized by Ambassador Jack Brewer; Aaron Levi Garvey; Adolfo Pecchio; Eli Klein; and Art for Thoughts.
